Respuesta incorrecta
El impétigo es una infección bacteriana superficial de la piel, muy común en la edad pediátrica.
Se presenta como vesículas o pústulas que se rompen dejando costras melicéricas. Aunque puede sobrevenir sobre una piel previamente alterada (por dermatitis, picaduras o rascado), no constituye en sí misma una enfermedad con disfunción primaria de la barrera cutánea.
Su manejo es antibiótico.
